Carol Gregory Design provides an expert wedding dress alteration service. She operates under the belief that great wedding dress design ultimately makes the client stand out from the crowd. Our focus is on giving the client a bespoke garment and excellent service. Carol Gregory is a specialist in wedding dress and bridesmaid dress alterations and a talented dress designer who is wholeheartedly dedicated to creating individual attire for the whole wedding party.
What we offer
Wedding dress alterations

By choosing Carol Gregory Design you will be fitted by Carol Gregory herself. Carol is a professional seamstress and has over 30 years experience in wedding gown alterations and design. The fitting process is exclusive to the bride and her bridal party. During the process Carol will discuss your alteration requests and provide expert advice on the fabric content of your dress. You will have use of the dedicated fitting room in the West Midlands.
Wedding dress extras
Extra beadwork and applique can be added to your wedding dress to enhance the overall look. As well as this Carol Gregory Design can consider all bespoke garment requests.

Bridesmaid dress alterations

As with the bridal fittings, you will be fitted and consulted by Carol Gregory. All alterations will be discussed and agreed during the fitting. Again you will have exclusive use of the dedicated fitting room, and a fixed appointment.

Bridal accessories
​
Carol Gregory Design provides extra personalised touches to enhance your wedding outfit. These consist of, but not limited to: wedding veils, garters, bridal jackets and much more. These can be discussed with Carol at the fitting.

Personalised bridal messages
​
We create personalised embroidered messages which can be hand-sewn into your wedding dress.

Dress the bride
​
This is a unique service offered by Carol Gregory Design. Carol will attend on the day of your wedding to help the bride into her wedding gown, taking the pressure off the bridal party. This service can be extended to include bridesmaids and mother of the bride / groom.
For the groom
​
Carol Gregory Design also cater for the groomsmen. This includes jacket, trouser and waistcoat alterations, that will follow the same process as explained above.

Carol can create waistcoats, pocket squares, ties, dickie bows and hankies from a fabric of your choice.

Dress Storage
On completion of alterations your garments will be ready for collection. Should you wish to store these at Carol Gregory Design this is available at an extra cost.
Steaming / Spot Cleaning
Charges for steaming or spot cleaning can be requested.
